All-might, the person who made the entire plot of My Hero Academia happen by giving Izuku Midoriya his quirk after a fatal injury and making him his successor. Its a wonder that someone as strong as All-might was injured that badly in the first place because we know that even after de-transforming and struggling to keep his muscle form, he survived a fight against All for One without major life changing damage. So, how is it that it even happened? In the beginning of the story when Deku gets his quirk for the first time and uses it while breaking all of his bones, we are introduced to Recovery Girl who seamlessly fixes Izuku's arms and legs immediately. Why couldn't she do the same to All-might? You could say that All-might was trying to hide the injury from the world, but honestly it is to be expected that major hero's get hurt (ex. Endeavour) and even if All-might didn't have the energy to get healed by her quirk, (Which we know he does, because he still kept fighting afterwards) he still could have maybe tried a little harder to get healed. It almost seems like he wanted to retire soon, maybe make the world not depend on one person to make it a better place, or take a vacation to take care of his son Midoriya...Todoroki-kun I'm sorry.
